The Korea Fashion Association (Chairwoman Sung Rae-eun) held a pre-briefing for participating brands on June 23 at the Textile Center to ensure the successful operation of ‘K-Fashion Connect,’ the country’s largest B2B fashion order exhibition, which will take place July 22–23 at The Platz in COEX, Seoul.
The briefing was run as a practical program aimed at boosting tangible order outcomes, covering the exhibition operation plan, buyer meeting strategies, and the sharing of each brand’s selling points.
This year’s K-Fashion Connect, under the theme ‘Dressing the World in Korea,’ will be held as a revamped version of the former ‘Trend Fair,’ and is set to operate as the nation’s largest B2B fashion order exhibition connecting K-fashion brands with buyers from Korea and abroad.
A total of 78 brands will participate in this exhibition, including rising K-fashion labels drawing attention in domestic and overseas markets such as 2000Archives (CEO Kim Sun-bin), Rii (CEO Lee Jun-bok), BLR (CEO Kwon Bong-seok), Oheshio (CEO Choi Jin-dong), Yugang (CEO Yoo Kang-hyun), and Holy Number Seven (CEO Choi Kyung-ho).
Through one-on-one business consultations and brand promotion with domestic and international buyers and distributors, participating brands will pursue new business partnerships and expanded sales channels, and are expected to generate meaningful order results while laying the groundwork for entry into overseas markets.
“K-Fashion Connect, newly introduced this year, will be a flagship business exhibition linking outstanding K-fashion brands with the global market and will serve as a bridgehead driving K-fashion’s overseas expansion and export growth,” said Sung Rae-eun, chairwoman of the Korea Fashion Association. “We will actively support more K-fashion brands so they can build competitiveness in the global market and grow into global brands that ‘dress the world in Korea.’”
